ABC Fashion Event to showcase Marche fashion district
The ABC Fashion Event, scheduled for October 21 and 22 at the Fermo Forum, aims to strengthen the role of the Marche region in the fashion supply chain. The event focuses on accessories, components, and technologies for bags and footwear, reporting a 160% increase in participating companies and a growing international dimension.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni expressed support for the district, stating the government will stand by those who produce and create employment in Italy. Gino Sabatini, president of the Marche Chamber of Commerce, emphasized that such fairs, combined with international buyer outreach, allow local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to demonstrate the quality of 'made in Italy' craftsmanship.
To support the sector, the Marche Chamber of Commerce is implementing initiatives such as the 2026 Fairs and Internationalization Grant and the 2026 Double Transition Voucher. These programs are designed to help micro and small businesses invest in digitalization, artificial intelligence, e-commerce, and environmental sustainability to enhance global competitiveness.
