ABC renews executive Gustavo Cartaxo until 2027

ABC Futebol Clube has renewed the contract of football executive Gustavo Cartaxo until the end of 2027. Cartaxo, who has been with the club for four and a half years, was instrumental in the team's recent promotion to Série C.

During his tenure, Cartaxo helped secure two Potiguar Championship titles (2020 and 2022) and three national promotions: two from Série D to Série C, and one from Série C to Série B. Following the renewal, Cartaxo is working on squad adjustments and player contract renewals for the upcoming season.

In addition to Cartaxo's renewal, the club has also appointed João Burse as the new head coach for the 2027 season. The club's leadership, including president Eduardo Machado, has indicated that the sporting objective for 2027 is to achieve promotion to Série B.
