ABC reportedly encourages Joy Behar to retire following injury

ABC executives are reportedly encouraging 'The View' host Joy Behar to retire following a backstage injury. Behar, 84, has been absent from the program for several weeks after dislocating her shoulder when she caught a heel backstage.

Insiders claim that network officials are concerned about Behar becoming a “liability” due to mobility issues and the risk of future falls. Reports suggest that staff are increasingly worried about her safety backstage, noting that she often requires assistance to move around the set.

While ABC is allegedly encouraging Behar to retire “gracefully” to celebrate her long career, sources indicate that she has not expressed a desire to step down voluntarily, maintaining that she is still capable of performing her duties.
