ABC Transport reports N465.5 million profit for first half of 2025

ABC Transport Plc has reported a profit of N465.5 million for the first half of 2025, representing a significant turnaround from losses recorded during the same period last year. The company attributed this recovery to improved operational efficiency, cost optimization, and increased patronage across its service routes.

Growth was driven by rising passenger numbers and a recovery in corporate charter services, alongside the expansion of haulage operations and the implementation of technology-based solutions for fleet management and ticketing. Managing Director Frank Nneji stated that the performance reflects deliberate strategies to reposition the business despite economic challenges such as inflation and rising fuel costs.
