Abdel Karim Mustafa departs Ismaily for Sharjah in emotional farewell

Egyptian forward Abdel Karim Mustafa completed his move from Ismaily SC to Sharjah FC during the summer transfer window. In a post on his social‑media accounts he thanked Ismaily’s supporters, staff and teammates, calling the club “the real backbone” of his career and promising to keep the yellow‑castle’s flag high.

Zamalek defender Hossam Abdel Meguid also issued an emotional farewell, posting on Facebook that he is proud of every moment spent with the “White Castle”. He highlighted his 171 appearances, 15 goals and a decisive assist, and expressed gratitude to former coach Jorge Ferreira and the club’s fans before preparing for a new chapter in Europe.
