Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of National Security, has approved a new series of appointments to various responsibility positions within the central and decentralized services of the General Directorate for National Security.
The new appointments include 10 police leadership roles across public security, general intelligence, and judicial police. Key regional changes include the appointment of two police station heads in Oujda, an acting head of the regional judicial police service in Ouarzazate, and a head of a judicial police unit in Laayoune.
In Zagora, the appointments involve the head of the police commissionerate at Zagora Airport, a head of the urban authority, and an acting head of the judicial police unit. At the central level, the appointments cover the department for managing demographic data and other services under the General Intelligence Directorate.
These moves are part of a strategy to promote young talent into security management roles and ensure the rotation of leadership positions to enhance the efficiency and productivity of police human resources.
