Abderrahmane Allane, former Algerian international goalkeeper, dies at 56

Former Algerian international goalkeeper Abderrahmane Allane has passed away at the age of 56. His former club, USM Alger, confirmed the news in a statement expressing deep sadness and condolences to his family.

Allane enjoyed a prominent career in the Algerian championship throughout the 1990s. He began his professional journey with MC Alger before moving to JS Kabylie in 1994. During his tenure with JS Kabylie, he achieved significant success, winning the Algerian national championship in the 1994-1995 season and the African Cup Winners' Cup in 1995.

Following his time in Tizi Ouzou, Allane returned to MC Alger briefly before playing for WA Boufarik and eventually concluding his career at USM Alger, where he played from 1998 to 2000. On the international stage, Allane earned two caps for the Algerian national team, appearing in matches against Bulgaria and Libya in 1998.
