Abdessamad Kayouh addresses regional development and political conduct in Morocco

Abdessamad Kayouh, Morocco's Minister of Transport and Logistics and a leader of the Independence Party, has held a series of communicative meetings to address regional development and political conduct.

In Imsouane, Kayouh met with local residents and civil society to discuss the unique developmental challenges faced by mountainous regions. The discussions focused on improving living conditions, enhancing basic services, and achieving spatial justice. Participants reviewed existing infrastructure projects in water and roads that have aided local access to services, while emphasizing the need for sustained development that respects the specific geographic characteristics of the area.

In the Chtouka Ait Baha province, Kayouh addressed political engagement, calling for a shift away from narrow partisan conflicts and toward prioritizing national interests. He emphasized that political competition is temporary, whereas the responsibility to deliver tangible results for citizens lasts throughout an entire mandate. He noted that voters would ultimately judge elected officials based on their field achievements rather than campaign slogans.
