Abdülhamit Bali Sports Park opens in Sancaktepe

Sancaktepe Municipality has officially opened the Abdülhamit Bali Sports Park in the Emek neighborhood. The facility is named in honor of the late Sancaktepe Municipal Council member Abdülhamit Bali, who passed away recently due to an illness.

Spanning approximately 2,510 to 3,000 square meters, the park includes football, basketball, and volleyball courts, as well as children's playgrounds, walking paths, and relaxation areas. The project aims to provide social and athletic spaces for local residents.

During the opening ceremony, Mayor Alper Yeğin expressed both joy and sadness, noting that the park serves as a lasting tribute to Bali in the neighborhood where he lived. Additionally, the municipality announced that the Ahmet Şimşek Family Health Center, located within the same 4,500-square-meter development area, is completed and scheduled to open next month.
