Abdou Karim Sall receives official recognition for AKS party

Abdou Karim Sall, the former Minister of Environment and current deputy and mayor of Mbao, has officially received the declaration receipt for his political party, And ci Kooluté nguir Sénégal (AKS), from the Ministry of the Interior.

Sall, who left the Alliance pour la République in September 2024, announced that this administrative recognition marks the beginning of a phase focused on massification and territorial expansion. The party aims to establish a presence in all regions of Senegal. The AKS coalition was formally transformed into a political party in January 2025, following Sall's successful legislative election campaign in November 2024.
