Audace Cerignola to host Catania in Serie C match with closed away sector

Audace Cerignola has announced that the away sector will remain closed for their upcoming Serie C Girone C match against Catania, scheduled for Saturday, October 31, at the Domenico Monterisi stadium. The decision prevents Catania supporters from traveling to the match.

The fixture is a significant clash for the playoff zone, with Catania currently in fourth place (19 points) and Cerignola in sixth (17 points). While Catania enters the match with momentum following a recent victory, Cerignola faces challenges due to a significant number of player injuries.

Cerignola's sporting director, Elio Di Toro, described the match against Catania as a high-level test of the team's maturity and mental strength, labeling Catania the most complete team in the league. The match will be officiated by Abdoulaye Diop.
