Abdul El-Sayed blames Netanyahu for pushing US toward Iran conflict

Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed has criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, alleging that Netanyahu’s advocacy for conflict has pushed the United States toward war with Iran. Speaking on NewsNation, El-Sayed argued that this geopolitical tension has resulted in significant economic burdens for American citizens, specifically citing rising fuel prices and the high cost of groceries.

El-Sayed expressed opposition to using billions of dollars in taxpayer money to fund foreign wars or provide unconditional financial support to foreign militaries. He also criticized his opponent, Mike Rogers, suggesting Rogers has shifted his stance due to falling in recent polls.

Former President Donald Trump responded to the remarks on social media, labeling El-Sayed a ‘radical extremist’ and a ‘terrorist sympathizer.’ Trump endorsed Republican candidate Mike Rogers, describing him as an ‘extremely good candidate’ and asserting that El-Sayed’s values do not align with those of Michigan or the United States.
