Abdul Samad Rabiu Commends Nigerian Ports Authority’s Modernisation

BUA Group Chairman Abdul Samad Rabiu praised Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) Managing Director and CEO Dr Abubakar Dantsoho and his team for their commitment to improving operational efficiency, stakeholder engagement and modernising Nigeria’s ports. The meeting highlighted ongoing reforms, infrastructure renewal and deeper public‑private collaboration.

Through BUA Ports and Terminals Nigeria Ltd, BUA is investing over US$65 million to reconstruct and modernise Terminal B at the Rivers Port Complex in Port Harcourt, expanding cargo capacity and enhancing service delivery. The investment supports President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, which aims to boost trade, industrialisation and the blue economy via modern port infrastructure.
