Abdul Waheed Akintola Olajide, former Oyo State SSG, dies

Olajide served as SSG during the administration of the late former governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, who governed the state between 2011 and 2019. The family confirmed that Olajide passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, though they did not disclose the specific circumstances of his death.

A Janazah prayer for the deceased was scheduled to take place on Wednesday, August 26, at 11:00 am at the MAN Centre in Oke Ado, Ibadan, Oyo State.
