Abdullah Öcalan dismisses leaked meeting minutes as conspiracy

Abdullah Öcalan has issued a handwritten statement through the DEM Party, dismissing recently circulated meeting minutes as a “conspiracy” and “provocative actions” by opponents of the ongoing peace process. The disputed documents allegedly contained notes from meetings between Öcalan and certain PKK leaders, but Öcalan maintains that the names, documents, and statements attributed to him are untrue.

Öcalan described the current political period as a “critical stage” for the process. He acknowledged the political will shown by President Erdoğan and Devlet Bahçeli, noting the recent legislative developments regarding the “Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration.” He emphasized his commitment to efforts aimed at building social peace and brotherhood.
