Abdullah Güler visits Malatya to discuss earthquake recovery and budget

AK Party Group Chairman Abdullah Güler, accompanied by Youth and Sports Minister Osman Aşkın Bak and other officials, conducted a series of visits in Malatya as part of the ‘Türkiye Yüzyılı Buluşmaları’ program. During the visit, Güler attended the opening of the 12th Malatya Book Fair and participated in a panel regarding Turkey’s geopolitical vision.

Güler met with local party members, tradespeople, and citizens to discuss the ongoing recovery efforts following the February 6 earthquakes. He noted that Malatya is “starting to run” as it recovers from the disaster.

Addressing political and economic matters, Güler discussed the 2027 Central Government Budget Proposal, which totals 27 trillion 276 billion lira. He highlighted significant allocations for education, health, agriculture, and social assistance. Additionally, Güler issued a warning to party members regarding recent fund scandals, stating that actions will be taken against anyone pursuing improper interests, regardless of their affiliation or location.
