Abel Ferreira marks six years at Palmeiras with 11 titles

Portuguese manager Abel Ferreira has completed six years at Palmeiras, marking his tenure with 11 trophies. He has become the most successful coach in the club's history, surpassing previous records held by Oswaldo Brandão.

His achievements include two Copa Libertadores titles, two Campeonato Brasileiro titles, four Campeonato Paulista titles, one Copa do Brasil, one Recopa Sudamericana, and one Supercopa do Brasil. During this period, Ferreira has managed 459 consecutive matches, establishing a significant level of stability compared to rivals like Santos, Corinthians, and São Paulo, who underwent numerous coaching changes.

In addition to his managerial milestones, the club has received a boost with the return of striker Vitor Roque from injury. The player, valued at approximately R$ 230 million, is expected to provide tactical options for Ferreira as the team competes in the final stages of the Campeonato Brasileiro and the Copa do Brasil.
