She highlighted previous administrative efforts in Acapulco to increase financial support for fishing gear, noting that subsidies rose from 11,000 to 41,000 pesos. Additionally, she mentioned projects aimed at restoring oyster banks damaged by Hurricane Otis and expressed a need for better communication mechanisms to ensure the safety of vessels in open waters.
