Abelina López Rodríguez requests cancellation of support march

Abelina López Rodríguez, the former mayor of Acapulco, has requested that supporters cancel a planned march in her support. Following internal decisions within the Morena party, López Rodríguez announced she will continue her political activities through direct contact with citizens across the state of Guerrero.

She expressed gratitude to her supporters and reaffirmed her commitment to the political projects led by Andrés Manuel López Obrador and Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo. López Rodríguez stated that political differences should not lead to personal grievances and emphasized her intention to maintain her presence in various regions of Guerrero, including the Montaña, Sierra, Costa Chica, Costa Grande, Tierra Caliente, Norte, Centro, and Acapulco.
