ABEMA has announced it will provide live broadcasts of the ‘U18 Nissin Foods Top League 2026’, the highest level of domestic basketball league competition for the U18 generation in Japan. Organized by the Japan Basketball Association (JBA), the tournament aims to strengthen and develop youth talent.

Starting August 29, 2026, ABEMA will offer free live coverage of selected matches, including matchups such as Teikyo Nagaoka High School vs. Higashiyama High School. The platform will also provide free highlight videos for all games.

Popular basketball YouTuber Tomoyan (Yuki Shimazu) has been appointed as the ‘ABEMA U18 Nissin Foods Top League Broadcast Cheer Captain’. The league is divided into Division 1, featuring eight selected male and female teams, and Division 2, which consists of 64 teams from across all prefectures.
