ABEMA to broadcast U18 Nissin Foods Top League basketball matches

ABEMA will provide free live broadcasts of selected matches from the ‘U18 Nissin Foods Top League 2026 Division 1’, a premier high school basketball competition in Japan. The broadcast schedule begins on August 29, 2026, featuring matches such as Teikyo Nagaoka High School vs. Toyama High School.

For the matchup between Fujieda Meisei High School and Fukuoka University Fuzoku Ohori High School, Kento Akama, a professional player for the B. LEAGUE team Ibaraki Robots, will serve as a guest commentator. Akama, a former participant in this league during his high school years, will provide professional insights into the players' psychology and technical aspects of the game.

In addition to live broadcasts, ABEMA will offer free highlight videos of all matches. The league coverage is scheduled to run from August 29 through November 15, 2026.
