ABEMA to host exclusive special for ‘Grow Up Show’ anime

ABEMA has announced an exclusive free live special program for the original anime series ‘Grow Up Show: Himawari Circus Troupe,’ scheduled for September 5, 2026, at 8:00 PM. The program will feature main cast members Tomoka Noda and Shiori Kurosaki.

The special will review the first nine episodes of the series and discuss the future direction of the ‘Himawari Circus’ in upcoming unbroadcasted episodes. To commemorate the event, ABEMA will also host a free marathon broadcast of episodes 1 through 9 earlier that same day, starting at 3:30 PM. Following the special, episode 10 will be available on the Anime LIVE channel.

Produced by A-1 Pictures and Psyde Kick Studio, the anime is set in Japan during the high economic growth period of the Showa era. It follows the growth of a struggling circus troupe as they strive to compete in the prestigious ‘Circus Collection’ festival.
