ABEMA to stream 30 free Pokémon titles in August 2026

Japanese streaming platform ABEMA will run a special summer program from 1 to 20 August 2026, broadcasting a total of 30 Pokémon works free of charge. Each morning at 7 a.m. (and also at 1 p.m. and 8 p.m.) the service will air 12 OVA episodes, 13 feature‑length movies and 5 short films, covering classic titles such as “Mewtwo Strikes Back” and “Lati‑as and Lati‑os”. On 16 August the morning slot shifts to 8:30 a.m. for that day only. All titles remain available for on‑demand streaming for one week after their broadcast.

The lineup includes well‑known OVA series like “Bokutachi Pikachu Brothers” and short films such as “Pikachu’s Summer Vacation”. ABEMA’s Pokémon channel already offers daily free streaming of the entire TV series and movie catalog, and the August event adds a focused, consecutive two‑week showcase for fans.
