Abeno Harukas hosts new restaurants and Expo 2025 food fair

New dining options and commemorative food events are arriving at the Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store in Osaka.

Sanmarc Holdings has opened two new restaurants at the Abeno Harukas Dining location. ‘BAKERY RESTAURANT C’ offers unlimited freshly baked bread with main courses and features a ‘Children’s Bakery’ corner for guests aged 12 and under. Additionally, ‘Odashimon’, a Japanese-style pasta specialty shop from the makers of Kamakura Pasta, has opened, focusing on authentic dashi-based pasta and Japanese sweets.

In celebration of the first anniversary of the Osaka-Kansai Expo, the department store is also hosting an ‘Expo 2025 Official Pop-up Store’ gourmet fair from October 8 to October 13. The event features popular dishes originally sold at the Expo, such as Canadian poutine, Kuwaiti machboos, British scones, and Swiss chocolate. Due to high demand during previous iterations, organizers noted that entry restrictions may be implemented based on crowding.
