Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store begins major children's clothing floor renovation

Kintetsu Department Store has announced a large-scale renovation of the children's clothing floor at its flagship Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store in Osaka. This project marks the first major remodeling of the children's section since the full opening of Abeno Harukas and is part of a broader initiative to renovate approximately 30% of the entire building by the end of fiscal year 2028.

The renovation will be implemented in stages. The first phase begins with Familiar on October 2, followed by Miki House on October 17. In November, Petit Bateau and Petit Main are scheduled to reopen. The redesigned Familiar section will feature expanded floor space, a new workshop area for children to participate in experiential programs like ‘Kuso Zukan’, and art by textile designer Masaru Suzuki.

This remodeling effort is a key component of the company's medium-term management plan for 2025–2028, aimed at expanding the customer base and acquiring next-generation consumers.
