Abeno Harukas to host Niigata food and sake festival

The Abeno Harukas Kintetsu Main Store in Osaka will host the ‘Harukas Nippon Expo: Niigata Edition’ from October 7 to October 13, 2026. The event aims to showcase the culinary and alcoholic specialties of Niigata Prefecture through various themed exhibitions.

The ‘Niigata Food and Sake Grand Festival’ will take place on the 9th floor, featuring exclusive eat-in menus such as seafood rice porridge, Murakami beef bento boxes, and various local sake, wines, and craft beers. Tsunan Sake Brewery will participate, offering its award-winning ‘GO’ series brewed from Uonuma Koshihikari rice.

Additionally, the ‘Niigata Delicious Food Fair’ will be held on the B2 floor, focusing on live demonstrations of seafood bento, rice balls, and local specialties like Tochio aburage. The event also includes a ‘MADE IN NIIGATA’ segment featuring a special talk event with actress Tomoko Yamaguchi on October 8.
