ABF franchising events highlight expansion and entrepreneurship in Brazil

The 19th edition of Expo Franchising ABF Rio is scheduled to take place at Riocentro from November 5 to 7, 2026. The event is expected to host over 15,000 visitors and feature approximately 100 brands seeking investors and partners. Business models at the expo will range from home-based operations with investments under R$ 10,000 to large-scale stores exceeding R$ 2 million, covering sectors such as food, health, beauty, education, technology, tourism, and cleaning.

Separately, the 24th Franchising Convention (ABF CON) held in Bahia featured speakers such as Thiago Nigro, who discussed business scaling and the importance of leadership presence on social media. The convention brought together over 600 specialists, franchisors, and franchisees to discuss industry trends and strategic alliances.
