Abhay Verma discusses career growth and diverse roles

Actor Abhay Verma has discussed his career trajectory, noting that eight of his films were shelved prior to his breakthrough in the 2024 horror-comedy “Munjya”. Verma expressed gratitude for his current opportunities, stating he views past setbacks as part of a larger plan rather than reasons for bitterness.

Verma has emphasized a desire to avoid being typecast, seeking diverse roles to reinvent himself with each project. His recent work includes a performance as flying officer Rajpal Singh Dhaliwal in the Netflix production “Operation Safed Sagar”, which depicts the Indian Air Force’s Golden Arrows Squadron during the 1999 Kargil War.

His upcoming project, “Laikey Laikaa”, has reportedly been rescheduled for a February 2027 release.
