Abhijeet Dipke Receives Marriage Proposals After NEET Protest
Abhijeet Dipke, the 30‑year‑old founder of the Cockroach Janta Party, rose to national prominence following a protest against an alleged NEET paper leak that led to the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. His mother, Anita Dipke, said that marriage proposals have been pouring in from across India since the campaign gained attention.
Dipke has stated he will consider marriage only after completing his studies, becoming financially independent and fully recovering his health. "I will marry only after completing my education and becoming financially independent," he told his family. He returned from Boston on 6 June 2026 to pursue the protest but his travel was delayed by a bout of typhoid. The family also faced security threats, prompting them to hide for about two weeks.
Anita Dipke said the family will discuss marriage again when he returns, but the final decision remains with the activist.
