Investigation demanded into CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke’s father’s finances and party funding

RTI activist Amit Tiwari from Surat has written to India’s Election Commission and tax authorities seeking a probe into the financial sources of Bhagwan Rao Dipke, a retired Maharashtra government employee and father of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke. Tiwari questions how Dipke could afford his son’s education at Boston University, which costs about ₹1.5 crore, when his monthly salary was only ₹45,000‑₹65,000.

The activist also raised concerns about a ₹1 crore legal‑defence fund announced by Rajya Sabha MP Kapil Sibal for CJP protestors, asking whether the party is properly registered under the Representation of the People Act, 1951, and whether the donation is subject to GST. He has asked the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs to examine the GST applicability of the fund. The requests call for scrutiny of CJP’s legal status, its funding mechanisms, and the source of the Dipke family’s wealth.
