Abhijit Dipke's grandmother passes away in Maharashtra

Savitri Shankarrao Dipke, the grandmother of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder and activist Abhijit Dipke, passed away at the age of 85 in Santuk Pimpri village, Hingoli district, Maharashtra. She had been suffering from a long-term illness and passed away at her ancestral home.

The death occurred while Abhijit Dipke was in police custody in Delhi. Dipke and other CJP leaders were detained by Delhi Police upon arrival in the capital, intended for a planned protest at Jantar Mantar against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

Delhi Police officials stated they informed Dipke of his grandmother's passing with sensitivity and offered potential assistance on humanitarian grounds to help him travel to his ancestral village for the funeral.
