Abia State leaders highlight Governor Otti’s infrastructure and campaign efforts

In Abia State, political figures are highlighting the achievements and funding structures of Governor Alex Otti’s administration. Labour Party chieftain Emmanuel Nwoko has called for recognition of the federal government and international partners in the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP). He noted that while Governor Otti has met counterpart funding obligations, the project is substantially financed by the World Bank’s International Development Association and the French Development Agency (AFD).

Simultaneously, the newly inaugurated Labour Party Campaign Council in Abia State has been tasked with promoting the administration’s record to the grassroots. Chief Ralph Egbu, Coordinator for Ukwa West State Constituency, stated that campaigners are instructed to communicate the government’s progress in infrastructure, education, and healthcare to voters to build support for the administration beyond 2027. Key achievements cited include the transformation of Aba, the construction and rehabilitation of schools, and the employment of over 9,000 teachers.
