Abisola Ayoola discusses marital challenges on Big Brother Naija

Former Big Brother Naija Season 11 contestant Abisola ‘Abi’ Ayoola has discussed the challenges of participating in the reality show as a married woman. Following her eviction in Week 7, Ayoola revealed that her marital status caused some male housemates to distance themselves from her initially.

Ayoola noted that while she sought to maintain a cohesive and organized environment by connecting with all contestants, some men became reserved after learning she had a husband. She mentioned that she eventually found ways to build connections despite these early interactions.

Additionally, Ayoola shared the emotional difficulty of spending her first wedding anniversary inside the house. Although she was granted permission to use a diary session to send a message to her husband, she described the experience as nerve-wracking and sad due to the inability to communicate with him directly. She stated that she and her husband are now planning a trip to celebrate the anniversary properly.
