Abissnet Superiore: Laçi and Elbasani draw 1-1 in season opener

The opening week of the Abissnet Superiore football championship featured several draws. In the match between Laçi and Elbasani, the teams shared a 1-1 result. Laçi initially had a goal disallowed by VAR in the 9th minute. Elbasani took the lead in the 56th minute through a penalty converted by Rubin Hebaj, but Laçi equalized in the 84th minute with a long-distance goal by Orgis Cena.

In another fixture, Partizani and Teuta played to a 0-0 draw at the Arena e Demave. Partizani played much of the match with ten men after Roian Human received a red card in the first half. Despite the numerical advantage for Teuta in the second half, neither side was able to score, and a penalty attempt by Sherif Kallaku hit the post.
