Żabka expands vending network and medical product pickup services
The Polish convenience store chain Żabka is expanding its service offerings through both automated retail and healthcare logistics. The company has grown its vending machine business to 245 units operating across Poland and Germany within one year of launching the format.
Additionally, Żabka has partnered with logistics operator Nettle to serve as pickup points for medicines and medical products ordered online. These stores will act as external collection points for licensed internet pharmacies, maintaining strict pharmaceutical standards by ensuring products are transported and stored at controlled temperatures between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius. This initiative leverages Żabka’s network of over 13,000 locations to facilitate easier access to e-pharmacy services for consumers.
