ABLOGUI announces winners of 4th film competition in Guinea

The Association of Guinean Bloggers (ABLOGUI) has announced the winners of the fourth edition of the ‘Film the Guinean Woman Who Inspires You’ competition in Conakry. Themed ‘She acts for all. Rights. Justice. Action’, the contest required participants to produce three-minute videos highlighting inspiring women in these fields.

From a shortlist of 20 videos, four winners were selected: Abdoulaye Sylla for the Impact and Justice jury prize, Victorine Balamou for Community Leadership, Ibrahima Tanou Diallo for the French Ambassador's special prize, and Kadiatou Cissé for the Public Choice award.

ABLOGUI President Mamoudou Baro Condé stated that the initiative aims to encourage youth to use digital tools to tell meaningful stories and amplify voices that are often unheard. Over the four editions of the contest, approximately 300 Guinean women have had their journeys and contributions highlighted through the lens of young people.
