ABOUT YOU warns of data security incident at logistics partner

The fashion e-commerce retailer ABOUT YOU has issued a security warning to customers in Croatia and Slovakia following a data security incident involving one of its external logistics partners.

Unauthorized individuals gained temporary access to the systems used by the logistics partner to process and deliver orders. While ABOUT YOU stated that its own internal systems were not compromised and user account data remains secure, the company cannot rule out that personal information was viewed or copied.

Potentially affected data includes customer names, delivery addresses, order details (such as order numbers, items, quantities, and prices), and contact information like email addresses or phone numbers. The company emphasized that sensitive information, including passwords, payment details, and banking data, was not affected.

ABOUT YOU has activated cybersecurity protocols and launched an investigation, while the logistics partner has taken measures to limit the incident. Customers are advised to be vigilant against phishing attempts, specifically regarding fraudulent delivery notifications or suspicious links.
