AbraSilver advances Diablillos silver project in Argentina

AbraSilver is advancing the Diablillos silver project, located in the cooperation zone between Catamarca and Salta in the Puna region of Argentina. The company is currently in the technical and economic feasibility stage, focusing on construction design, cost estimation, and infrastructure planning for worker camps.

Major construction activities are expected to intensify starting in May 2027, with a projected duration of approximately two and a half years. The project aims to begin production by late 2029. The Diablillos project is considered one of the most significant undeveloped primary silver projects globally, with an estimated lifespan exceeding 20 years.

The initiative is expected to have a significant impact on local employment. AbraSilver estimates the creation of approximately 1,400 jobs during the construction phase and roughly 600 permanent positions once the mine becomes operational.
