abrdn Investment and Finloop partner for tokenized private market distribution in Hong Kong
abrdn Investment has announced a partnership with Finloop Financial, a subsidiary of Finloop Financial Technology Holdings, to distribute tokenized interests in its global private markets strategy. This initiative marks one of the first instances in Hong Kong where tokenization is used to provide access to global private market strategies.
Through Finloop’s wealthtech platform, professional investors in Hong Kong will be able to access a diversified portfolio of private market assets. These assets include private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real estate, and natural resources. The use of tokenization technology is intended to enhance product accessibility, liquidity, and operational efficiency for investors.
This move follows previous tokenization efforts by abrdn, including collaborations in the UK with Archax and Lloyds Banking Group to use tokenized real-world assets as collateral.
