Abruzzo Beer Festival to showcase growing regional production

The fourth edition of the Festival delle Birre d’Abruzzo is scheduled to take place from November 12 to 15 at the Porto Turistico in Pescara. The event aims to highlight the growing Abruzzo brewing sector, which is characterized by increasing production, new investments, and a rising presence in both national and international markets.

Organized by Arap and promoted by the Abruzzo Region through its Department of Agriculture, the festival will feature 12 participating breweries. The event is designed to connect artisanal producers with Horeca operators and international buyers through exhibition spaces, sales areas, food trucks, and conferences.

Regional officials noted that the sector's growth has been supported by legislation introduced in 2021 aimed at valorizing artisanal beer production. The number of participating breweries in the region has grown to 12, reflecting the success of local entrepreneurial investment.
