Abruzzo centre‑right parties prepare coalition for 2027 municipal elections

Fratelli d'Italia announced that it is already working on a political and organisational plan for the 2027 municipal elections in Roseto degli Abruzzi. The party stresses the need for a compact, unified centre‑right alliance and intends to keep an open dialogue with other forces in the region, although no candidate names have been disclosed yet.

In Martinsicuro, the local Lega welcomed Fratelli d'Italia's proposal and confirmed its readiness to join a coalition table. The party aims to develop a shared programme, select a joint mayoral candidate, and focus on issues such as youth involvement, civic participation and territorial security, including the establishment of a permanent police presence. Both parties underline the importance of early cooperation to present a united front in the 2027 local elections.
