Abruzzo launches €10 million digitalisation drive for SMEs
The Regione Abruzzo has begun a regional campaign called “Abruzzo in evoluzione” to boost digital adoption by micro, small and medium‑size enterprises and professionals. The programme, presented by regional assessor for productive activities Tiziana Magnacca in Vasto, is financed with €10 million from the European Regional Development Fund (FESR) 2021‑2027.
The funding aims to help firms invest in digital tools, with specific support for e‑commerce projects that retain a physical storefront. An information desk operated during the launch, and the application window (sportello) is slated to open on 21 September at 10:00. Subsequent promotional events are scheduled, including a stop on 6 August at the Centauro shopping centre in Chieti and a webinar on 7 August, followed by visits to other municipalities across the four provinces of Abruzzo.
