Italy invests 32 million euros in open-air tourism infrastructure
At the Salone del Camper 2026 in Parma, Italian Tourism Minister Gianmarco Mazzi emphasized the strategic importance of open-air tourism for the nation’s development. He highlighted the event as the most significant industry fair in Italy and the second largest in Europe.
To support this sector, the Ministry of Tourism has allocated 32 million euros toward more than 150 projects across 169 Italian municipalities. These investments aim to create 4,375 parking spaces for travelers. The distribution of these resources is spread across the country, with 28.5% in the North, 28.5% in the Center, and 43% in the South and islands.
