Abruzzo literature call for entries opened for FLA 2026

The FLA – Festival di Libri e Altrecose 2026 has opened a call for entries for its “Abruzzo L. O. C. – Letteratura di Origine Controllata” section. Scheduled to take place in Pescara from November 5 to 8, 2026, this initiative is designed to highlight literary production from the Abruzzo region.

The call is open to publishing houses legally based in Abruzzo and authors who were born in or reside in the region, including self-published authors or those published by houses outside of Abruzzo. Participating publishers may submit up to three works, while individual authors may propose one work each. Eligible books must have been published in print or digital format after October 1, 2025.

Submissions must be sent via email in PDF format by midnight on October 1, 2026. The selection process will be conducted by the Festival’s Organizing Committee, led by director Vincenzo d’Aquino, which includes experts from literature, journalism, and education.
