Abruzzo running events StraCongiunti and Trabocchi Trail Adventure see high participation

The StraCongiunti and Trabocchi Trail Adventure running events, part of the Corrilabruzzo UISP circuit, saw significant success during the weekend of September 12-13 in the Abruzzo region.

Organized by Atletica Val Tavo, the StraCongiunti in Congiunti di Collecorvino attracted approximately 600 participants, including competitive runners, non-competitive walkers, and youth athletes under 16. In the 11-kilometer men’s race, Domenico Campitelli won with a time of 36’36”. Melissa Palanza took first place in the women’s category with a time of 41’11”. Atletica Vomano was noted as the club with the highest number of victories and podium finishes.

Additionally, the Trabocchi Trail Adventure was held on September 12 at the Bosco di Don Venanzio and Punta Aderci Regional Nature Reserve. Managed by Gruppo Trail Abruzzo, the event took place following a previous postponement in April due to bad weather.
