Abruzzo signs legality protocol for earthquake reconstruction monitoring

Abruzzo Regional President Marco Marsilio has signed a legality protocol aimed at strengthening anti-mafia administrative prevention and monitoring during the reconstruction efforts following the 2009 earthquake.

The agreement establishes a regional coordination system involving Prefectures, special missions, and anti-mafia prevention bodies. Key objectives include enhanced information sharing, coordinated inspections at construction sites, and integrated risk factor analysis.

To support these efforts, the protocol introduces a Reconstruction Database to manage information regarding economic operators, construction sites, and labor flows. Additionally, security and labor quality tables will be established within the four Abruzzo prefectures to monitor compliance and ensure the regularity of work.
