Abruzzo strengthens agro‑food export push with Copenhagen trade mission

From July 29 to August 1 2026 the Regione Abruzzo organised a trade mission in Copenhagen, meeting buyers and international operators to showcase the region’s agro‑food companies. The mission, promoted by the Regional Agriculture Assessorate and carried out by ARAP, follows a broader strategy of export management, specialised training and commercial missions.

In 2025 Abruzzo’s export surpassed €10 billion, and in the first quarter of 2026 the region ranked second among Italian regions for export growth (+23.5%). Vice President and Agriculture Assessor Emanuele Imprudente said the results demonstrate the quality of Abruzzo’s production and the ability of its firms to succeed abroad. The regional programme aims to extend these gains to small and medium‑sized enterprises through support services, internationalisation pathways and qualified commercial missions. Numerous Abruzzo firms – including producers of wine, extra‑virgin olive oil, pasta and cured meats – participated, either on‑site in Copenhagen or represented by qualified staff.
