Abruzzo tourism infrastructure sees cable car developments

Tourism infrastructure in the Abruzzo region is seeing significant developments. The Prati di Tivo cable car is set to resume operations following technical inspections and the receipt of necessary authorizations from Ansfisa and the Abruzzo Region's Coreneva. The current authorization for the lift is valid until September 23.

Separately, the Abruzzo regional government has approved the administrative process for a new cable car at Monte Piselli. This project, located between the provinces of Teramo and Ascoli Piceno, aims to replace outdated facilities in the San Giacomo-Monte Piselli area. A total of 12 million euros has been allocated for this intervention, funded by the extraordinary commissioner for post-2016 earthquake reconstruction. The Consorzio Turistico dei Monti Gemelli will benefit from the resources, with the Province of Ascoli Piceno acting as the implementing body.
