Abruzzo tourism salon to showcase inclusive and sustainable regional models

The Piacere Abruzzo regional tourism salon will take place at Lanciano Fiera from October 2 to 4, 2026. The event aims to promote sustainable development and local identity within the Abruzzo region, focusing on the role of residents and the revitalization of small inland communities.

Among the participants is Rurabilandia, a public social and educational farm managed by ASP 2 of Teramo. The farm will showcase products such as oil, wine, pasta, and flour, while highlighting its model of inclusive and accessible tourism. Future projects for the farm include the development of an accessible campsite featuring 20 mobile homes without architectural barriers.

Additionally, a delegation of 13 Abruzzese municipalities, including San Vincenzo Valle Roveto, will participate to demonstrate how small villages can function as living, contemporary destinations rather than mere open-air museums. The event seeks to use public action and social initiatives to combat geographic and economic marginalization.
