Italy prepares for diverse autumn season of festivals and tourism

Italy is preparing for a diverse autumn season featuring various cultural, gastronomic, and nature-based activities across different regions.

In Northern Italy, pumpkin patches are set to reopen, with major attractions including the Villaggio delle Zucche at PuraVida Farm and the Villaggio di Nonno Andrea in Veneto. Bolzano will host several cultural events, such as the Transart contemporary art festival and Bolzano Art Weeks, alongside musical programs from the Fondazione Haydn.

In Central Italy, Umbria offers opportunities for slow travel through the Cammino dei Borghi Silenti, a 90 km walking route connecting villages like Tenaglie and Guardea. This path is highlighted as an ideal autumn experience due to milder temperatures and reduced crowds.

In Southern Italy, the Sila plateau in Camigliatello will host the 57th Sagra del Fungo throughout October, celebrating local mushroom varieties with food stands and traditional music.
